December 2019 Newsletter - I for India

We hope you are all gearing up for the holiday and festive season of Christmas and New Year and have made your vacation / staycation plans. We wish you all a fun filled wrap up to the 2019 and a fresh new start to the 2020.

This newsletter is a write-up on our 2020 outline plans so you can mark your diaries well in advance. As you are aware our event segments over the past 4 years have been wide ranging – Holidays, Cruises, Networking, Concerts (light music, instrumental and carnatic), Drama, Sports etc. One thing we have always wanted to do was to have a segment on motivational, inspirational and socio psychological theme. What better time to plan for it than at the start of a new year!!

“Narrate with Neeya Naana Gopinath” - March 7th and 8th 2020

To commemorate the international women’s day we aim to bring the popular motivational speaker Gopinath with a theme to reflect our day-to-day lives including women empowerment. The event is open to everyone in the family.

Gopinath Chandran is an Indian television anchor, radio jockey, journalist, reporter, news presenter/moderator, entrepreneur, and a writer, currently featured on the STAR Vijay debate show Neeya Naana. He is popularly known as "Neeya Naana Gopinath"

Gopinath is a firebrand motivational speaker who is a rage among the youth for his poetic aggression and refreshing insights. For many media personalities, Gopinath is an inspiration

Gopinath began his career in 1997 with United Television and later he went on to join Raj Television Network. He did reporting assignments for Jaya TV, NDTV and CNBC TV-18. Later he joined Vijay TV and anchored Makkal Yaar Pakkam, a political analysis programme. In 2006, he started his position with Neeya Naana.

He has been an anchor for television series such as Makkal Yaar pakkam, Nadanthadhu enna?, Sigaram thotta Manidargal and En Desam! En Makkal in 2013.

Some of the awards / recognitions he received were:

  • The International Tamil university has awarded Doctorate, appreciating his media excellence in 2010.
  • National University of Singapore has awarded “International Youth Icon” in 2012.
  • Asia Book of Records recognized him as “Best Human Value Communicator” in 2012.
  • Ananda Vikatan selected him as one of the Best 10 personalities of India along with Abdul Kalam and Kamal Hassan in 2009.
  • US Government selected him as India’s Best Young Journalist and Anchor and invited to participate in an International Visitor’s Programme as a guest.
  • Got selected as India’s special Representative to participate in the International Health Conference (IAS) held at Sydney, Australia in 2007.
  • He has motivated 3,00,000 students in 5 years as a human value communicator and key note speaker.
  • His research oriented lectures about leadership qualities, Economics, Alternative Mechanism were well appreciated in the forums like TED, CII (Confederation of Indian Industries) etc

The event format will be a talk show with panel of speakers and lots of audience interaction on a relevant topic. If you would like to be part of the panel, please write to us or contact us. We are looking up to 6 teams to start with to represent the following localities and after initial screening and auditions these speakers will be split into two teams.

Margazhi Maha Utsavam – October 10th and 11th 2020

We had a tremendous response to our Inaugural Margazhi Maha Utsavam event earlier this year and we would like to continue with it in 2020 too on popular demand from all of you and in the years to come this will be one of our flagship event that you can look forward to every year.

Please block the dates and we will write to you in more detail in due course.

We hope you are happy with our efforts to bring a greater number of celebrity events to the UK as per your feedback. Please do make the most of these opportunities by attending them and securing your tickets early.

We have few more events for 2020 in the pipeline and we will provide more information about them as and when we finalise.
